Create beautiful landscapes in abstract expressionism style
The famous American Abstract Expressionists of 1940’s and 50s style, were often inspired by nature and they lead their paintings with how nature made them feel rather than just what they saw.
In this class we will look at the work of Joan Mitchell and some of her nature paintings and techniques and then create our own landscapes based on the emotional connections we make with our beautiful nature surroundings.
